Admit it: you've always wanted to know whether there are some nice little green men out there, haven't you? And your computer's just idling around most of the time... right? Well, that can be changed... with the SETI@home project it won't have no time anymore to twiddle its virtual thumbs!
Here, you can make your computer part of a distributed project with well over 2 million participants (as of 6-30-2000), with the goal of finding radio signals somewhere in the endless depths of space. Of course, my computers are busily involved :-) ... and yours?
